Jonathon Lewis
“Not Just Music In My Head But A Song In My Heart” has been my mantra since I was a child.
I began singing at age 5 years old when I sang “Away In a Manger” in Church. My interest in music only grew with participation in choirs and Ensembles throughout my school years. At age 25, I started a Gospel Quartet called “The Servants Quartet” and recorded two Projects in the Southern Gospel Genre. I always had the desire to play the piano but could never match my desire with talent; coordinating reading music and playing the keys.
It wasn’t until a health crisis in 2018 which incapacitated me, that my determination to play and write music, culminated in success at tickling the ivories. The past few years have blossomed into writing over 50 songs and the recording of the “Crimson Love” project.
I appreciate your interest and hope that the message in my songs and the testimony in my book, “Standing In The Gap” blesses you. May God keep you in His care.
God Bless!
